How Adults Can Volunteer

Thank you for considering volunteering your time to 4-H! The 4-H Program would not be what it is without the time and dedication our volunteers give.

All adult volunteers must complete an on-line orientation, background check and register with the California 4-H Program before working with youth.

Adult Volunteer Certification Step #1

All adult volunteers must complete an two part orientation, complete a background check and register in the 4-H program.

After you have contacted your local club, please complete this first step of the orientation process. Once your results are received you will be sent Step #2 of the orientation to complete.

a. Beginning 4-H FOR VOLUNTEERS Required training for All New 4-H Volunteers.

Recommended for 4-H Volunteers or Parents and Adults with 5 or less years involvement in 4-H.
